Business Principles

Customer First

We prioritise the customer experience. By taking time to understand our investors’ financial goals, working hard to protect their capital, providing regular communication and information, creating networking opportunities; and rewarding reinvestment and referrals, we aim to build and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship of trust with our investors.

Due diligence & risk management

Is core to how we operate. We carefully analyse potential investments and strategies from several different angles to ensure they are a good match for our investors’ portfolios - but most importantly, to determine the associated level of risk. In any investment, risk is inevitable. When we must assume risk, it is actively managed.

Compliance

Compliance underpins everything we do. We adhere to the strict rules of our regulators, which includes The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Her Majesty Revenue and Customs (HMRC), who carry out regular audits on our conduct and practices.  We continuously  seek additional regulatory regimes and best practice protocols to sign up to, in order to best protect our investors and maintain public trust in capital markets.

Fair management fees

Our management fee structure is simple, transparent and modest. We want our investors to continuously reinvest with us and not be deterred by excessive fees. Acting with integrity is part of the GoldKach culture.

Corporate Responsibility

We believe the inclusion of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors is integral to financial analysis, which is part and parcel of the investment process. We maintain that long-term sustainable returns are dependent on stable, well-functioning and well governed social, economic and environmental systems.  We won't just put our investors' money anywhere.  In addition to our investment practices, we aspire to conduct our business in a way that achieves consistent client outcomes and sustainable growth; while also demonstrating social responsibility in four key areas:

 01

Paragraph title

People

Our recruitment practices aim to promote diversity and progression. We fully support the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) guiding principles on human rights and labour; and aim to provide an example of good human rights and labour practices throughout our business. We also uphold anti-slavery/modern slavery laws, directives and best practice.

02

Paragraph title

Places

Our small grants programme is designed to support the efforts of local communities, local service providers, and other voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Africa and the UK. We also make our team available to deliver talks, workshops and shadowing opportunities. We are particularly invested in assisting youth, employment and health/well-being initiatives.

03

Paragraph title

Professional Field

By operating with integrity and transparency (through adherence to our regulators, audits, anti-bribery and anti-corruption/fraud guidance), we aim to offer up a positive image of investment services. We are also committed to the ongoing research of the market and sharing our learning.

04

Paragraph title

Preserving Environments

By aiming to regulate our energy and water use, and employing eco-friendly office and business travel principles, we seek to avoid excessive, damaging effects on the environment. Our grants programme also extends to environmental projects.
