Our story
Founded in 2018, GoldKach was born out of a desire to democratize access to international financial markets for African investors. Our founders recognized the barriers many faced, including limited access to global markets and high investment costs, and sought to create opportunities that would address these challenges. Today, with offices in Kampala and Nairobi, we leverage local expertise and global reach to provide clients with the best investment opportunities. Julius Oluka
Founder & CEO
Julius Oluka is a finance professional with wealth of experience in the investment industry. He has worked and consulted for several organisations in the UK, including those in the corporate sector and not-for-profit sector managing investment portfolios for endowment funds, implementing robust investment strategies, structuring investment portfolios and implementing risk management strategies across alternative and traditional asset classes. Now as a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, Julius is engaged in developing and structuring Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). In terms of his academic qualifications, Julius holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) from Makerere University, an Advanced Diploma in Information Systems from London Training College, and an MSc in Investment Management from Birkbeck College, University of London. Julius is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Investment and Securities (Chartered MCSI).
Patrick Opio
Partner
Patrick is a project management professional, trainer and project funding consultant. He started his career as a Civil Engineer eventually progressing into Project Planning and Controls. With twenty years UK and overseas experience, Patrick has been involved in both client and contractor environments in the delivery of mega, complex, and iconic infrastructure programmes like High Speed 2, Crossrail, London 2012 Olympics, Crossrail, King’s Cross St. Pancras Redevelopment, Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) and Oil and gas developments. He has experience of rail infrastructure delivery having been involved as a senior planner on Crossrail Anglia in the upgrading of seven stations and stepping and gauging works. He has also been involved in HS2 enabling works and tendering of HS2 track systems from London Euston to Crewe. Now, as trainer and project funding consultant, his enthusiasm for the subject of project planning, financing and controls is shared with his students and clients. He holds the following certificates: Project Planning and Control, Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, PRINCE2 and APM. Patrick holds an MSc Concrete Structures and Business Management from Imperial College London, MSc Information Systems Engineering from South Bank University, Financing and Entrepreneurial Business from London Business School (Executive Education) and BSc Civil engineering from Makerere University.
Dr. Pathmanathan Naidoo

Dr. Pat Naidoo is an Obstetrician and Public Health Physician with over 38 years of experience working in Africa, Asia and Latin America. He has worked with Governments, the private sector and with Foundations and Philanthropic Organisations to engage in partnerships to improve Health Equity and maternal child health for underserved populations throughout the world. He has headed global health programs for the Rockefeller Foundation, ELMA Philanthropies and for the International Development Research Centre. He is currently based in Kampala, Uganda where his work is focused on improving Maternal and Child Health throughout East Africa. Dr. Pat has an M.D. PH.D. from Yale University USA, MPH from John Hopkins University USA, FRCOG from University Edinburgh UK, DTM&H from University of London, FRCS from University of Glasgow and MBChB (Natal) Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine South Africa,
Aaron Mwije

Aaron has over 11 years of experience in financial accounting with extensive knowledge in UKGAAP, IFRS, and tax reporting. Aaron has worked in established Practices and Industry, dealing with SMEs and individuals in multiple sectors and sizes, adding value and efficiencies to business processes and tax positions. As a results-driven finance professional with a passion for systems optimization, his expertise lies in financial management, process improvement, and strategic planning. Aaron holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Plymouth University; he is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds bachelor’s degree in business administration (Accounting) from Makerere University.
